Supple leather and wood or metallic accents are top-notch, with soft-touch plastic material that covers most any other surface. All these elements are also very suitable to be assembled as a whole and complete. Controls throughout the cabin is intuitive and easy to use, such as the optional touchscreen navigation system. The iPod interface, on the other hand, can be a bit frustrating. 

IS 250 is short on rear seat legroom and overall feels very narrow compared to other luxury compact sedan. Even with the average size of the driver front, they are relegated to the rear will likely find their place as unaccommodating as in the coupe.
